We've replaced a rotted exterior door with a new fiberglass door with miniblinds. There's so many benefits to this door. My favorite is the fact that you don't need external blinds that slap against the door when opening and closing it. You don't have to dust in between individual blinds you just wipe down the glass and your set!

Replacing Old Crusty Glass in a Sidelite

Today we had a customer that wanted a more efficient glass in his front door. When replacing door window glass in Tucson, you have to be careful not to damage the existing weak spots in the wood. The existing door frame he had was in good condition, and not only is it stronger than most new wood frames, not having to replace it will save him a bundle. So instead of tearing the whole thing out we replaced only the glass with a dual pane, Low-E, argon filled, interior frosted glass option. Now the customer can enjoy cooler, quieter, and a more private viewing glass.
